Bruiser

    apply to adopt

    Bio:

The name says it all—meet Bruiser!

Bruiser is a rowdy, bouncy little puppy who wakes up every day ready to choose chaos. 😂 He has recently discovered his brand-new pearly whites and thinks they are meant for testing out on his foster mom, his brothers, and pretty much any foster friend within reach. Personal space? Bruiser has never heard of it.

One of his cutest features is the goofy little arrowhead-shaped marking on his head, giving him his own Avatar: The Last Airbender look. But while Aang may have been peaceful and responsible for restoring balance to the world, Bruiser seems much more interested in creating a little imbalance wherever he goes. 😂

He is playful, confident, curious, and always ready for his next adventure. We are still working on potty training, but who can blame this cutie? Bruiser has much more important puppy business to attend to—playing with his brothers, bouncing around with his foster friends, finding things to chew on, and having as much fun as possible.

Bruiser is still a young puppy, so his forever family should be prepared for everything that comes along with puppyhood: continued potty training, learning his manners, redirecting those little shark teeth to appropriate toys, plenty of socialization, and lots and lots of playtime.

    Medical & Adoption Requirements

As of August 11, 2026, Bruiser has received his first DAPP vaccine. Because he is being adopted before completing his puppy veterinary care, his adopter will be responsible for completing the following at their own expense:

    • 2nd and 3rd DAPP vaccines
    • Bordetella vaccine
    • Rabies vaccine

These vaccines must be completed by September 14, 2026.

Bruiser must also be neutered by February 15, 2027, at the adopter’s expense.

Documentation of the required vaccinations and neuter must be provided to DFW French Bulldog Rescue.

If you're looking for a sweet, hilarious, slightly chaotic little sidekick who is ready to bounce his way into your life, Bruiser is ready to meet you. Just remember: the arrow may say Aang, but the personality definitely says Bruiser. 💙🐾
