Chanel is a gentle soul learning what it means to be truly loved. After being used for breeding, she was surrendered to rescue alongside her puppy when her last litter included a cleft palate baby. Both had been living outside and arrived flea-infested, but Chanel’s sweet, devoted nature never wavered.
She may be a little timid at first as she adjusts to life indoors—something entirely new to her—but once she feels safe, her personality begins to shine. Chanel is playful, bouncy, and absolutely adores being near her people. She loves to cuddle, follow her foster mom around, and is starting to enjoy the company of her foster dog friends.
Because she’s still learning the rhythms of indoor life, Chanel may howl occasionally, so no apartments for this girl. One of her most endearing quirks is the way she sticks her tongue out—it’s impossible not to smile when you see it.
Chanel is the kind of dog who just wants to love and be loved. With a little patience and a lot of heart, she’ll make the sweetest companion.
