Glo

07/2025:

Say hello to Glo! This spunky little girl was a stray and brought into a local animal shelter. The shelter reached out to us after they noticed she wasn't able to use her back legs. Despite having IVDD, Glo is bursting with energy and joy. She hasn't met a dog or person that she didn’t want to be friends with and is always eager to greet them.

Glo is a true lovebug who soaks up every bit of attention and affection. All she wants is to be held, cuddled, and loved (she’ll make sure you know it!). Nothing can slow down this feisty spirit.

She knows to do her business outside, though sometimes her excitement gets the best of her, leading to a few small accidents. Glo is currently on strict crate rest as she heals, but we can tell she’s counting down the days until she can be free to zoom around again.

One of her favorite things is sitting outside, eyes closed, soaking up the sun and fresh air like the little princess she is. We’re so proud of how brave and happy she’s stayed through it all.

04/2026 Update: 

Glo continues to make amazing progress! While she’s still a bit wobbly, she’s getting stronger and more confident with her walking every single day. She’s gone from needing full support to now moving more on her owe. We’ve even noticed she doesn’t really need her wheelchair anymore!

Her personality is just as bright as ever. Glo has the most playful, energetic spirit and rarely seems to run out of battery. She keeps us laughing daily with her silly, spunky antics and zest for life. She absolutely loves attention whether it’s snuggling up for naps, being petted, or just soaking in all the love she can get.

Glo gets along fabulously with her foster brother and is friendly with everyone she meets, both humans and animals. She truly just wants to be everyone’s best friend. She has a great appetite and is thriving in her routine, though she may still have the occasional accident when she gets extra excited.

This sweet girl deserves a home where she’ll be surrounded by love—ideally with someone around often and maybe even a playful dog sibling to keep her company. She has so much joy, love, and laughter to give, and we can’t wait to see her continue to blossom.
