Millie was a stray who was picked up and transported to a local animal shelter. After the local shelter was unable to locate her owner, the shelter reached out to us to further provide for her care. We are currently working to heal a corneal abrasion that she has to her left eye. Her foster parents are doing a wonderful job of keeping up with her eye drops and ensuring she does not paw at her wound. Millie is a sweet, mellow girl who loves to snuggle. As a puppy she likes taking lots of naps and likes playing with toys when she’s awake. She seems to do well with other dogs and would probably love kids who would give her lots of attention. She is mostly potty trained with very few accidents, and is learning commands. She is a very loving girl who shows lots of affection and enjoys it in return. Millie is a big rope French Bulldog which has been purposely bred to align with certain desired characteristics. This large nose fold and extra wrinkles will make it difficult for Millie to breathe. She will need a home who has prior brachycephalic breed experience and who understands to keep her walks or potty breaks to a minimum when the summer heat starts picking back up.
