Ms. Piggy

Please welcome Ms. Piggy to DFW French Bulldog Rescue. This chunky girl was a stray who was brought into a local animal shelter. When her owners never came for her, we were asked to help find her forever home. We have quickly found that Ms. Piggy is not a fan of spatial pressure. She likes to walk into her kennel on her own terms and if she's rushed in, she likes to do a spin move and give you back sass. This older lady likes to take her time doing her daily activities and we don't blame her. When her foster mom is out running errands, Ms. Piggy has been snoozing the time away on the couch until her foster mom returns. Ms. Piggy will bark and try to look out the window as her foster mom leaves. Ms. Piggy has been doing well with her foster friends here, but we haven't quite seen her playing and interacting with them. She's more of a quiet, to herself girl who loves human attention and endless pets. This chunky girl is currently on a diet to hopefully get her more excited about playtime and energy expenditure. In the meantime, this girly pop has been taking it easy, enjoying the nice Texas springtime, and is ready to find her forever who is a calmer and of no rush.

Ms. Piggy loves her food and toys so much that we want to find a family for her that has more submissive dogs who will leave her to play with her toys. Or even a family who does not have any dogs so she’s able to soak up all the love she can get!
